Our story

Made for the hours in between.

Crunch Culture began with an ordinary afternoon and nothing worth reaching for. Most snacks are made to be eaten quickly and forgotten. We wanted something to slow down for.

So we began mixing our own. Nuts chosen for their quality, set beside fruit, spice and smoke until each mix holds together. Four mixes to a collection, and two collections a year: one for the long light of spring and summer, one for the darker months.

Every mix is made with upcycled and whole ingredients, and mixed and packed in the Netherlands.

The ingredients

We work with a small number of suppliers who can tell us where each ingredient comes from, and we stay with them. Some of what goes into our mixes is upcycled; the rest is whole. All of it is plant-based.

The making

We make in small runs, once a month, so nothing waits long on a shelf. Each mix is portioned into resealable 75g pouches, and the box they arrive in is 100% recyclable.

The standard

A mix earns its place. Each one is tasted, compared and reconsidered before it joins a collection, and every collection is held to the standard of the one before it.
